In this same survey, 90% of those questioned reported they were disappointed with the long-term results, (some respondents actually had put on some pounds instead). You see, reducing a few pounds quickly is relatively easy! Anyone who has reasonable self-control can lose a bit of weight. The problem comes in keeping the pounds from creeping back-on over time.

Take with a pinch of salt diets that are very much a gimmick or fad and attempt to change our normal eating behavior. Their chances of failure are high. Only consider a practical diet, that reduces the calories but also has a good balance of everything a body needs with your own particular energy requirements.
